Junction 3 on the M3
A refurbished centre by Lifestyle Fitness was completed in 2008.Set among'st a country park the Lightwater Leisure Centre provides a new gym, dance studio, spinning room, changing rooms and coffee lounge.
Yates Associates were invited by architects Mittleman Associates to undertake both the electrical and specialists lighting input. The main gym area was lit with 258mm square specular silver downlights complete with cross blade louvre and twin 26w TC-DE low energy warm flourescent lamps resulting in an ambient lighting level of 400lux. Considerable led and halogen lamp sources were deployed in other areas of the building.
